I suffer from skin reactions from gluten. I cannot touch a baked good or wear cosmetics with gluten in them. My hair falls out if I have gluten in my shampoo.
A fellow blogger wrote a great post and I would love to share it...

I didn't realize that shampoos/conditioners have gluten in their indgredients! Do all shampoos/conditioners have it? I read the article that you posted a link to--very interesting! So what shampoo do you use since you have an external reaction to gluten? And the same with makeup! What makeup do you use? Oh, and P.S. I haven't tried the kale chips yet, but I do want to and when that happens I'll let you know what I think. - Emiliy Luke
ReplyDeleteHi Emily! I use Himalaya Organique. You can find it at Vitamin Shoppe (and other health food stores as well as online). I use Physician's Formula products that are labeled gluten free, and Wet N Wild right now because 90% of their products are gluten free ( as stated on their website). However, I am looking for more natural options, unfortunately, the natural options I have found cost an arm and a leg. I can't really see paying $60 for a bottle of foundation I would only use occasionally :)
DeleteHere is a link to a list of gluten free shampoos and conditioners. Not all have gluten but many do. Hair straightning creams are a huge culprit, most contain wheat. http://www.theceliacdiva.com/gluten-free-shampoo-conditioner/
Hope this helps!
