Getting My Body Back After Baby A: 19 months later!! Progress Pics!!

Wow, it seems like it has been ages since I have been on the blog. So much has been happening here in the ReInvented house that I have not been able to keep up with this, I apologize.

Hubby and I are both studying for certifications, and Baby A is 22 months old! Studying with an almost 2 year old can definitely prove to be interesting.

This time of year is definitely busy for us with Halloween and Baby A's birthday party coming up, I will be testing for my certification the week after Baby A's birthday, and Hubby's & my anniversary is that same week as well. Mix in there Dr. appointments, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, as well as Hubby's birthday....it makes for a busy fall/winter time!

We have been continuing to get healthier and healthier! We have switched over to the mason jars ( we made the switch over in the early summer), and now to glass water bottles. We are doing our best to reduce the plastic in our lives!

It has been a long time coming, but I finally have my 19 month progress pictures for you! I know that I needed to post these forever ago, but I figure late is better than never!

Enjoy :)

Here I am in July!
I will take more current ones soon enough!

and a side by side comparison:

(98 lbs)                              (140+ lbs)                                      (101 lbs)

Here's an individual one so you can see more detail:

....and keeping it real, here is the loose skin I am talking about when I bend over ( helping Baby A swim, but cropped her out for privacy).

Eating healthy & getting regular exercise makes all the difference when getting your pre-baby body back! Despite the tiny bit of tummy skin I have that won't go back, I feel as though I am in better shape overall than I was before baby!

What do you think?

  1. The only way to get rid of the loose skin would be a mini tummy tuck. With that said, you look good and I'm glad you are back.

    1. Thanks so much! The skin has gone back a little more, but I doubt it will go all the way. As much as I dislike it, it always makes me think of how lucky I am to be a mommy. I guess you could say they are my "battle scars" or "tiger stripes" :)
