Little Night Owls.

When we brought home Baby A from the hospital, she slept through the night for 2 whole weeks......
And then everything changed. She became a night owl. It seems as though she has her days and nights switched. Keeping her awake through out the day doesn't seem to make her any sleepier at night either.

Do any of you have night owl babies? Any tips or tricks to getting baby to sleep through the night? I would love to hear your stories!

  1. Oh dear, wish I had some tips for you. Just make sure you keep everything dark and quiet during the night and do not talk to bubs or even make eye contact- seriously!!

Keep persevering, she'll work it out. IT's usually around 2- 3 weeks old when the bubbas wake up from the trauma of childbirth and decide they don't know how to sleep. It's a stressful time.

It starts to settle around 6-8 weeks so ride the wave. It will get easier

    1. Thanks so much Caz! I really appreciate it! The joys of being a sleep deprived first time mommy...but I wouldn't trade it for a thing!
