Benefits and Uses of Olive Oil.

There are so many uses for Olive Oil. I personally prefer Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil.  I use it all the time in my daily life!

Here are a few of the many uses for Olive Oil:
  • Hair Care- Comb a little through your hair to nourish and tame frizzy strands!
  • Help with earaches-  Dab a little onto a cotton swab and carefully use it to remove excess earwax.
  • Skin Moisturizer- Use it as a moisturizer after a shower to help keep skin soft.
  • Eat it! - Use it in meals to reap the benefits of Omega 3's and Vitamin E!
My favorite Olive Oil to use!

I like to use olive oil in cooking and as a body moisturizer!  A little bit of olive oil goes a long way!

What do you use Olive Oil for?
Do you cook with it?
If so, do you have any favorite recipes containing olive oil?

Isn't it great to use natural products, that are whole and healing to the body?

My Beauty Cabinet Must-Have's!

There are just some products in my beauty cabinet that I just cannot live without!

These are a few...take a peek into my beauty cabinet:

Wet N Wild Wild Shine in Frosted Fuschia
Not only is it low in price, but it's high in shine & lasts a long time on my nails! I don't even have to do 2 coats if I am in a rush! This is by far my favorite nail polish, and the color is my go-to color.

Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Face Cleanser
This cleanser gets my skin squeaky clean & removes my make-up ( even stubborn eye make-up) without over drying my skin!

Maybelline Define A Lash Waterproof Mascara in Very Black
This mascara is great! It goes on smoothly for each lash without clumps, and it doesn't flake halfway through the day! I love that it's waterproof as well!

Himalaya Organique Rejuvenating Shampoo
&
Himalaya Organique Amla & Holy Basil Conditioner
I love that these are labeled gluten free, and don't have any artificial ingredients! They leave my hair clean, soft, and nourished..without the chemicals! They smell great too!

Vitamin Shoppe Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
This stuff is amazing! I use it instead of lotion, it is really hydrating and healing to my skin. I also use it in my hair as a leave-in conditioner & straightening cream! It keeps my hair straight and shiny, and keeps the frizz away!

These are just a few of my must-have's.

What are a few of your favorite beauty products, is there a product you simply cannot live without?

Benefits and Uses of Coconut Oil.

Coconut Oil is amazing.
It smells wonderful, is moisturizing, and for me, instantly makes me think of summer time (no matter what time of year it is!).

There are many uses for coconut oil, these are just a few:
  • Cooking (it has a high temperature tolerance, and is more suited to cooking than olive oil! Read more here!)
  • Skin Care. (use it instead of chemically laden lotions! Read more here!)
  • Hair Care. ( I even use it instead of hair straightening cream, it nourishes my hair while protecting it from the heat).
  • Eat it! (throw it in a smoothie to receive the internal benefits! Read more here!)

I use Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, the kind I like is here.

Read even more on coconut oil here.

I love coconut oil for the moisturizing and healing qualities, as well as the anti-bacterial and anti-fungal qualities. A little goes a long way with coconut oil, and I have noticed a difference in my skin since using coconut oil.
I don't need lotion, just coconut oil.

Doesn't get more natural than that :)

Have you used coconut oil? Likes or dislikes?
Would love to hear your stories on natural care items you use!
Have you cooked with coconut oil?
If so, what are some of your favorite ways to use it in cooking?
