Eat Your Veggies!: Carrots

Carrots are used in so many meals! They are great in everything from chicken stew to a salad! 

Why should you eat more carrots?

Here are some reasons:

  • They contain vitamins A, K & C 
  • They are a good source of beta carotene
  • Carrots have anti-oxidants that are good for cardiovascular health
  • Carrots have lutein which is good for eye health

Try steaming them or eating them raw for most health benefits!
